Finding a slab

When you are in the yard or on a job, find a slab without hunting through the full stock list.

Who can do this​

Users with access to the Jobs area (stock uses the same permission).

Steps​

  1. Open Stock → Look up by shop code, use the mobile Scan tab, or open Look up / scan from a job’s Materials panel.
  2. Type the shop code written on the slab edge, or the supplier ID if you stored one.
  3. If you printed a QR label, tap Scan QR (where the browser supports it) and point the camera at the label.
  4. Review the slab status (available, reserved, remnant, consumed).
  5. From a job lookup, choose Assign to this job when the piece is free.

If more than one slab shares the same supplier ID, CutBench shows a short list so you can pick the right piece.
