Field access
Decide what templaters and fitters can do on jobs they are assigned to. Settings apply to everyone in that role for your organisation — staff and freelance.
Who can do this
Organisation admins only.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Field access.
- Review the Templaters and Fitters columns.
- Turn each capability on or off for that role.
- Click Save.

:::tip Defaults Add issues starts off. The other capabilities start on, matching how CutBench worked before this setting existed. :::
Important details
- Rules apply only to assigned jobs — not every job in the shop.
- Office staff are not affected; they keep their normal Jobs permissions.
- Field workers never get the shop Issues board, and they cannot resolve issues even when Add issues is on.
- Turning a capability off hides it in the job view and blocks it in the app.
