Quote Studio

Quote Studio is CutBench’s built-in quoting tool. You draw the worktop layout, add edges and cutouts, plan slabs, set prices, and send a quote to your customer — without leaving CutBench.

New workspaces start on a 30-day Pro + Quote Studio trial. After that, Quote Studio is a Pro add-on (or the Pro + Quote Studio plan). Shops that only need job ops can keep importing CounterGo PDFs instead.

Quote Studio is for sales and purchasing planning — it is not CNC or CAM software.

Who can do this

Users with Quotes permission, on a plan that includes Quote Studio (trial, Pro + Quote Studio, or Pro with the add-on enabled).

If you see an upgrade prompt, enable Quote Studio under Settings → Billing. If billing is already on but Studio is off, turn it on under Settings → Quote.

Open Quote Studio

  1. Go to Quotes in the sidebar and click New quote, or
  2. Open a job → Quotes panel → Create in Quote Studio (customer and job stay linked), or
  3. Follow Create a quote in Quote Studio in the getting-started checklist.

You land on a full-width canvas with a left toolbar and a collapsible right-hand panel for material, sizes, joints, corners, edges, and cutouts.

  • Add L-shapes, angles, sinks, and edge profiles
  • Arrange pieces on slabs and preview the material
  • Price from the drawing and add customer choices

Typical flow

  1. Draw the layout (rectangle, L, U, or island).
  2. Set edges, corners, and cutouts.
  3. Review the slab plan (how many slabs you need).
  4. Price materials, edges, and cutouts — optionally add customer choices.
  5. Save, then share the public link or email the quote.
  6. When the customer accepts, Approve and continue with payment terms as usual.

CounterGo as a fallback

You can still import a CounterGo / Moraware PDF on a job when you already quoted elsewhere. Quote Studio is the primary path for new quotes; CounterGo import remains available as a fallback.
