Calendar overview
The calendar shows templating, cut, fit, and other scheduled work across all jobs. Week view is built like a production board: live job bars across the top, day marks, then timed appointments.
Who can do this
Users with Calendar permission.

Week view (production board)
Week view has three bands:
- Live jobs — coloured bars spanning the days a live job is open (from earliest schedule/created date through fit, or the latest date set). Colour comes from the job’s product range if set, otherwise from status.
- Day marks — date-only items (no clock time), plus away blocks.
- Timed appointments — visits with a clock time (from 7am), such as a fit at 10:00.
Click a job bar or appointment to open the job. Use Away / meeting to block time that is not tied to a job.
Filter the toolbar with All, Templating, Cut, or Fit to focus on one schedule type.
Event types
- Templating — scheduled template visits
- Cut — planned shop cut dates
- Fit — installation dates
- Away / meeting — staff off or internal meetings
- Busy — blocked time (where shown)
Outlook and phone calendars
- Shop subscribe — one link for the whole shop board (Settings → Shop calendar). Useful while migrating off a shared Outlook calendar. See Shop calendar.
- Personal subscribe — each templater/fitter’s own appointments (Settings → Calendar). See Calendar subscribe.
Both feeds are one-way: CutBench is the source of truth.
Subscribe the shop calendar
Organisation admins can also subscribe the shared shop calendar so live jobs show in Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or another calendar app. Get the link under Settings → Shop calendar, then use Add to Google Calendar or paste the link into Outlook or Apple. Edits in those apps do not write back to CutBench. See Shop calendar.
